Dear Editor,

The very nice book review by Paul G. Haschak of: Indexing Specialties: Medicine, edited by L. Pilar Wyman, was very pleasant to read, but he referred to me as a contributor. In fact, I did not write any of the articles contained within this volume, I wrote the index.

Since libraries and other potential book purchasers can make better decisions when they know if a book has a good, poor (or any) index, all book reviews would benefit from a comment about the quality (good or bad) of the index, in my opinion.
